    Turn off auto login ... select http ... accept ...first prompt to use url select ask later... second prompt use stream select ask later ... third prompt use http select ask once and in u go ! u mite also wana set ur poll time 2 increasing ... hope this helĎs

    I've tried all of that already, thanks! And still nothing works so, I just went and downloaded V5.5 again, which works alright!

    yeah the connection these days is not great. before connection on motorolas were superb. the http trick works but uses alot more airtime and is slower. Mxit team please fix. also in web sessions does the service type 1 and 2 affect Mxit or is anyone fine. there's the choice between wap, wap secure, wap connectionless, http and http secure.

    Hey thanks will do. But do i select wap for both service type 1 and 2? Also wouldn't wap connectionless be better? O network is virgin mobile.

    Hey guys you guyz are doing a job well done ;-) bt i have a problem plz plz plz tell me you can help me! my Mxit doesn't want to log in nor does it install.im using a MTN sim and i tried everything you guyz have said i should but nothing helps its depressing and frustrated :'( PLZ PLZ PLZ IM BEGGING YOU GUYZ

    Please follow the steps in this thread and make sure that your phone settings are set up correctly.

    If you still do not succeed logging into Mxit please reply to my post and let me know the exact error messages you are getting and where you are getting them.
