The Mitac MIO A701 is a Windows Mobile phone. You will therefore need to run Mxit in a midlet manager on that phone. Have a look on your phone for your phone's midlet manager. Once you have found it, do the following:
    1. Delete all versions of Mxit currently installed on your phone.
    2. Open your phone's default wap browser
    3. Clear the browser's cache
    4. Go to http://http://m.Mxit.com
    5. Download the "Generic MIDP 2.0 (5.0.8)" version of Mxit
    6. Once the download has completed, open your phone's midlet manager - Mxit should appear there.
    7. Run Mxit.

I had a look on a number of websites and none really seem to agree about the specifications of the Huawei V710. Please try the Generic MIDP 2.0 version of Mxit on your phone though - it might work. Do the following to install the Generic MIDP 2.0 version of Mxit on your phone:
    1. Open your phone's default wap browser
    2. Go to http://http://m.Mxit.com
    3. Select "Download Mxit"
    4. Select "Select phone"
    5. Select "Generic" and select "Accept"
    6. Select "MIDP 2.0" and select "Accept"
    7. Enter the other required information
    8. When you reach the "Install" page, select "Normal" to start downloading Mxit.
    9. Once the download has completed, close your phone's wap browser
    10. Open Mxit from your phone's applications or games menu
Please let us know if it works.

The Audiovox 6600 is a Windows Mobile 2003 SE phone. With a suitable midlet manager application, it should be able to run the Generic MIDP 2.0 version of Mxit.

If you currently have an Audiovox 6600, check the phone's menus and see if you can find a midlet manger application. If you find a midlet manager, open your phone's default wap browser, go to http://http://m.Mxit.com and download the Generic MIDP 2.0 version of Mxit. Then open your phone's midlet manager and run Mxit from within the midlet manager. If your phone doesn't have a midlet manager manager, you will need to download one of the midlet managers available on the internet before you'll be able to run Mxit on your phone.

I see Vodafone has launched a phone called the Vodafone 225. Anybody know if Mxit runs on it?

Unfortunately Mxit won't be able to run on the Vodafone 225 because it offers neither GPRS nor Java support.

The LG KE800 meets the minimum requirements for Mxit. Additionally, no LG KE800 users have reported problems with Mxit on their phones. The LG KE800 should therefore be able to run Mxit. The most suitable version of Mxit for the LG KE800 is the LG KG920 version.

Unfortunately I am not sure about this. It's best to wait for a KE800 user to comment on this.

You can try the version for the Nokia 3100 on your phone. If you still have problems then please post a description of your problem and include any error messages that you might get as well.
