Not sure if this is the right forum. I need to change my account profile on Mxit, name and nick but do not no where. How do I cancel my Mxit account and can I have more than 1 account for the same phone number

Hope someone will help me on these questions

Hi ablekie

You can go to the info bot select option 7 - profile then select option 1 - my profile then you will be given a screen with your account profile. Select edit by Mxit id then select option 2- add another Mxit id. After doing this you can log out and log on to your new account id. If you would like to delete the previous id do the same steps but on the final step go to change id and delete the previous id.

As for the having two accounts on one number this is not possible however you can create an id without using a cell number.

I tried exactly what you said... but now I have a lot of profiles as I can log in with both the old and new Mxit IDs!!! I now have 5 accounts as I can log in with 5 different Mxit IDs??? Is there really no way to unregister or deactivate other profiles? I only want to use ONE? Another concern is my main profile (the one with all my contacts and set backgrounds etc.) is registered with an old phone number of mine, I want to receive my offline notifications to my new phone number. PLEASE HELP!!!

Unfortunately there is no way to delete or Deactivate Mxit accounts. I would suggest removing the numbers from all of them (Not your main profile).
