    Greetings all,

    Our Mxit Android 6.1 application has been released to the Android market place! This new version is now available for you to download.

    We have included the following new features in this release:

    1. Phonebook Search enhancement- removed the disambiguation when searching for your friends on Mxit

    2. Transport Encryption- required for the soon to be released Wallet service

    3. Push Notification- Now includes the entire message with the notification sent

    4. OS integration- Share media into Mxit

    5. Persist messages across chat sessions- you will now have a chat history for contacts that you are chatting to even when logging in & out of Mxit

    6. Status message in chat- you can view your contacts status message when chatting to them
