Hi, I have a motorola RIZR Z8. I've been using Mxit for a long time on this phone and all of a sudden I couldn't log on. It goes to the welcome screen with the Register and Login buttons in their respective corners, but I cannot choose either one. They are a light blue color and I cannot 'click' them..

Please let us know which exact version of Mxit you have on your phone so we can check into this for you. 5.9.0, 5.9.1, 5.9.2?

It first happened with v5.9.2... So I tried v5.9.0 and 5.9.1 etc. even version 5.5 does it now. It doesn't matter what version I use witch makes me doubt if it is Mxit at all and not my phone.. funny thing is though I just got it back(sent it in for repairs, they fixed the software).(It started doing it before I sent it in)

    Hi SACaveman

Did you remove the old Mxit before you downloaded and installed the new one?

Also try clearing your browser cache and restarting the phone before downloading Mxit.

There seems to be a little issue with this version for your phone. But we are looking into this for you.

Hi, guys. I recently upgraded from v5.8 to 5.9.2... everything works great except for the fact that there is no setting for which i can view or set a status message or view peoples profile pictures. Can anyone help? I'm using a V360 Vodafone.

Unfortunately your phone does not support these two function due to memory issues. :-(

Scrolling through contacts and messages is very poor on the ZN5. I noticed it on 5.9.2 first and now 5.9.3. It sortof hangs and also skips a contact/moves 2 lines down. Please take a look at it.

i hav read all posts cocerning the V360(v/i) handsets, especially those regarding connection. it has become apparent through thorough investigation and trial that the phone connects to the internet via phone's browser and java apps (Mxit/opera mini/etc. ) when using the MtN network, BUT only connects connects via browser on other networks. this is a problem for me as i am a Vodacom subscriber.

is there any help for me to be able to connect via Mxit and opera mini on the phone using Vodacom? (i have followed various links and instructions posted regarding getting the settings, i know how to set it up for wap)

Is this a touch screen phone?

Try and download the version for the N97 and see if this still occurs.

hey Mxit team, i have been using Mxit for 3 years now and the forum for 1 year, but this is my 1st post. Anyways....I have read in many places about how motorola phones have issues with java apps' permissions. My brother has had a RAZR V3x for about 4 yrs and when Mxit first introduced the camera feature he remembers it working fine, but not anymore, he cnt remember on what version it last worked. have the Mxit team only recently stopped signing the jar file or what?
