I got a Motorola V360v, I downloaded the new version (v5.9) and I log into Mxit fine everything, but it seems that Mxit can't show all my contacts. When I scroll down some of the contacts just disappear (as if my screen can't show it). My phone worked perfectly with all the other versions so far. Any idea what I should do?

Do you have any skins installed?

Hi. One of the phones i use Mxit on is a v3i. It's really hard to find a new version that works well on it. 5.9 installs but then freezes. Elite has an annoying bug that hangs the buttons. And the pro version is too lite, lacking many features including basic smileys, is buggy (smileys don't show not even the code, selectable links don't work, down button leads to menu, unable to create multimix, etc), and it deletes all messaages when memory is low instead of just old ones. The best version is 5.4 and 5.5 which work brilliantly without skins and emoticon packs. So my suggestion would be to take 5.4 and remove skins, custom emoticons and tabs and replace it with farwell messages, persistant mood and status messages and release that as the lite version for motorolas.

The Lite version should not be much longer before release where you can try this version and see how well it handles on your phone.

Normally you will need software installed on your PC that came with the cell phone in order to transfer data.

Some phones however you can access the memory card through 'My Computer' which you can transfer back and forth.

Hey Mxit team. Just another thing. ZN5 version is now no longer fullscreen as of 5.9.1.

Hey! Alrite so I've been having some trouble with Mxit lately. I'm using the Motorola v360 and I had v5.8.2, the old Mxit Elite, installed. This morning I tried to log in, but wasn't able to. A message came up telling me the GPRS specifications for my phone, which I entered into a new entry in my browser, but it didn't work.

I'm able to get onto the Mxit Wap site, but when I select Download, this msg pops up: 'Unable to display this content. (HTTP 406 Not Acceptable)' Could this have to do with the internet settings on my phone??

I've been able to use Mxit up until recently, this just came out of nowhere. Any help would be fab, thx!

We had some issues yesterday with our wapsite which should be all good now.

Try again this morning and let us know if you are still having this issue.

Do you experience this problem with Mxit Elite?

Older versions of Mxit worked fine on my V3x before I downloaded V5.9. After V5.9 download I was constantly disconnected so I tried to download older versions again. This time I am constantly being disconnected when using the older versions and this never happened before. Also, each time I opened the v5.9 application it installed again. Is there anyway to fix this?

It is possible that the GPRS coverage in your area has become unstable. Also please make sure that your 3G is disabled when using Mxit.

Please read through this thread to ensure that your phone is setup correctly for Mxit --> viewtopic.php?f=8&t=17280

Hi, I have a motorola RIZR Z8. I've been using Mxit for a long time on this phone and all of a sudden I couldn't log on. It goes to the welcome screen with the Register and Login buttons in their respective corners, but I cannot choose either one. They are a light blue color and I cannot 'click' them..
