    Hi my mom just got a blackberry curve... 8250 i think... ive isntalled Mxit, but after you log on it wont send or receive messages? im not familair with blackberrys at all so do you guys know whats wrong?

    You also need to set up your phones APN, do the following:

      1. Select Settings
      2. Select Advance options
      3. Select TCP
      4. Select APN
        If you're on Vodacom change the Access point to: "internet".
        If you're on MTN change the Access point to: "myMTN".
        If you're on Cell C change the Access point to: "internet".
        If you're on Virgin Mobile change the Access point to: "vdata".
        International users can go to APN (Access Point Name) Settings to get a list of Access Points.

    Hi,

    I have a blackberry curve 8900. Mxit keeps freezing. I have tried deleting and reinstalling every possible version that is available at least twice and it continues to freeze. It initally started with it not sending messages but receiving, but it just keeps freezing. Grrr!

    Please help...

    I'm not sure why this would be happening but do you perhaps have too little space on the phone?

    I have a blackberry 8700 and downloaded Mxit onto it, but can't figure out how to add friends and to access the menu of my Mxit...

    could u please help me figure it out please where do i need to go or what do i need to press to access the menu.

    From your conversation screen press the phone's menu button for more options. Form here select "Contacts" - "Add contact" to invite your friends.

    Hello I have a blackberry 8520 and downloaded Mxit. It keeps disconnecting. I have changed my APN to internet and also tried a previous verson 5.9.0, but still now it freezes after a while. What can I do????

    Hi, I am using a Storm 9500 touchscreen... I am not able to type any messages - more correctly, I am typing and my predictive text shows the word that I am typing, but it does not appear on the screen, and if I send, it only sends a blank message.

    Any news or help on this? Shot! :)

    This will be fixed with the next release of Mxit for BlackBerry. There is currently no release date.

    Any updates regarding when this will happen will be posted on the forum.

    Hey when is Mxit 5.9.2 for blackberry getting an upgrade? I'm over the freezing and bugs. More people getting BB's so the support for the phone needs to be amped up. Any info could u plz e-mail (removed by moderator) Thanks for understanding my urgency
