    Hi

If you are referring to the LG GB190, there is no version of Mxit for your phone due to it not supporting JAVA.
Even though the phone supports GPRS, it does not support JAVA.

I cannot find much information about this phone.
Does it support Java and GPRS?

The HTC Smart is not listed on the wapsite but the configurations have been done and will be added when we update the wapsite.
If it does not automatically detect your phone, you could simply choose the version for the samsung SGH I750. This should work fine :-)

If there is anything else guys, please let us know.

    Hi prondebele,

In order for a phone to run Mxit it needs to have 3 requirements:

    * It must be WAP enabled.
    * It must be JAVA enabled.
    * It be able to download third party Java applications such as Mxit.

I am not familiar with these phones so unfortunately I will not be able to advise as which phone to choose.

    Regards,

    Greetings,

To install Mxit on new mobiles with no information released by Mxit.
Please go to m.Mxit.com from your phone's default web browser.
If your phone is not listed, try the version for the Motorola E1000.

Your phone's settings should automatically be sent to us and a version for your phone would be developed.

    Regards

    Hi,
I downloaded Mxit on my Vodafone 543, it is a touch screen, but I can not use my "select" and "back" icons on my screen. Is there a specific phone's version I can download that will work and help me. Please, very urgent!
    Thanx, Nadzr

    Greetings,

Have you tried the version for the 545 or 541 yet?

Give it a try and let us know if it does not work so that we may look into it for you.

The vodafone 541 and 545 Mxit version is the same problem on the vodafone 543, the Mxit app doesn't seem to recognize the touch screen input, therefore the right softkey menu is inaccessible, making Mxit usage extremely difficult.

I have tried the moto E1000 version aswell on my vodafone 543 with no luck either

    Greetings,

The touchscreen issue should have been resolved with the release of 5.9.7
If the problem still persists please let us know so that we may look into it.

    @ayrt

Could you please give us a bit more information as to what the issue is?
We need to know what phone make and model you are using as well as the version of Mxit.
Also just a short description of the issue would help a lot.

    Regards

    Hi Yummy
My friend is having the same problem. He has a Vodaphone vf543 and apparently there isnt a version for this phone. He is currently using the version for the 541 phone but cannot use his right option or view any files. He also tried downloading a version for a different touch screen phone but this does not work. Is a version being developed or is there an alternative verson he can use? Thanks in advance
