You may need to download a java emulator for your phone before attempting to use Mxit.

Does the phone support Java and 3rd party applications? If so then please try the version for the Motorola E1000 and see if you can run Mxit.

I apologise but this is probably the wrong place to post this but it seems I don't have permissions to post in the more relevant sections.

I'm in the UK and have a SE W595 on Vodafone contract that I've been trying to get Mxit working on.

Everything goes smoothly until I get to the main screen with the prompts to either register or login. Whenever I click on either of these the phone asks me if I want to allow application to send to the internet. I agree and wait a little longer and this is the message i get:

'Activation error. Please check your GPRS settings, or try again later.'

I've looked on the FAQs on this forum and assorted posts from people with similar issue's but to no avail. I can't find a solution.

Please someone help as I REALLY want this installed so I can MUD

    Any questions?

    Thanks for your time

Please make the following adjustments to your phone:

      1. Go to "Menu" " "Settings" " "Connectivity" " "Settings for Java" " "Internet Profiles"
Once here choose the internet profile which you received from your service provider.

If you are still struggling to log in then I suggest you call your service provider and make sure with them that you have full GPRS capabilities.

    Let us know.

Unfortunately we are no longer developing Mxit for this phone due to dynamic memory issues.

We also had to take out a lot of features on Mxit so Mxit runs smoothly.

You can add MXchange from Tradepost.

Where exactly are you getting stuck? And if you get any error messages, what are they?

    Greetings,

We are aware of this bug in Mxit V1.3 for windows Mobile.

For now you will have to stick with the Java version, but rest assured our developers are working hard at the next release.

    Regards
