    Hi

Please provide us with a bit more information. What phone make and model are you using? What Mxit Version? Are you sure they are just not logged in? Do you have airtime on your SIM?

    Regards

    Hey Void 8-o

I've been experiencing the same issues, it happens when you log in and the network has been giving up and down love to us, it's not just cell c, I'm vodacom.
Your contacts are online, the online status for them does not come up though.
If sending a message, they still recieve it, after a while/logging in and out, the contacts will show online (have you turned your pc off and on again 8-| lmao) It doesn't happen that often for me to have brought it up before.

Just to confirm, this was an Airtime issue, as you need airtime to use Mxit. I can confirm this, as I also needed airtime to log on to Mxit from Cell C.

    Hi

I am not entirely sure why this happens, I herd from a lot of people that The BIS service is extremely slow, and this might result in contacts showing offline. This might be on Vodacom's side.

It's only been recently hey, not even 3 weeks yet, which is why i havent really mentioned anything before, but for the last two days I have been having trouble staying online, it might just be due to vodacoms network, not entirely sure. I have checked all the settings over and over and it seems to be with bis? as the error is failure to connect to the service, might run it over with bb support on vodacoms service, they're pretty helpfull. I honestly dont think it's a Mxit issue though, as the errors are not related
