The steps which you need to follow to get Mxit working on your Windows Mobile 6.0 PocketPC phone should be the same as those posted in the first post of the following thread: Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC phones.
Any Windows Mobile 6.0 specific information will be posted in this thread though.

Does your phone perhaps have a hard "Menu" button? On some phones the "Accept" and "Back" options are available when pressing the phone's hard "Menu" button.

Will there be a Windows Mobile 6 version available in the future? ie, not a java version but an actual .cab installer?

Greetings,

Yes, this is something we are busy working on. It will not be much longer until this release :)

Hi,

I have Mxit on my HTC TYTN (Hermes) v5.6 .I have mobile 6 installed. I used to be able to send messages, but lately cannot do so. When I click on my contact and in the menu choose write , only a small bar appears at the bottom of my screen, and does not allow me to enter a message.

As mentioned, it used to work just fine.
Thank you

turn the inline edit off dude!!!
its not compatible with qwerty keyboards..
goto settings-apearence (in the java Mxit) and uncheck the inline edit option...

ps.. the inline edit works if u use the number keys when 2nd function is active

V5.7 does support QWERTY keyboards. You can give V5.7.2 a try and see if you can use your QWERTY keyboard.
