Still no luck with the touchscreen problem on my A1200 - I reset my phone to factory settings, but ended up having to do a flash/[new install of the OS]. Well, even after this, it still didn't work.
Almost everything resides on my memory card..I might consider formatting it to see if there isn't something there that is causing my problem. I can't see/imagine this to work - so I'll just test by removing the card (too much effort if I format). I'll also test other versions as well.
Otherwise I'll just have to use my ZN5 for the meantime.

We are aware of this and are looking in to it. This will only be resolved in our next bug fix release. Unfortunately there is no release date for this yet. Updates will be posted on the forum as soon as they become available.

Please give the phone version for the Motorola V360 a try on your phone and see if this will download.

In order for a phone to run Mxit it needs to have 3 requirements:

    * It must be WAP enabled.
    * It must be JAVA enabled.
    * It be able to download third party Java applications such as Mxit.

Unfortunately this phone does not support all the requirements to run Mxit so you will not be able to download Mxit onto this phone.

    Hi

    I have got a Motorola Razr2 V8

I've had Mxit on this phone - V5.08(2) And it worked perfectly fine,
I decided to check if there is an update for this, and i downloaded and installed V5.8.2, and now my problem is that Mxit does not run on full screen, as it used to before. :-|

Is there a way i can get the V5.08(2) back or is there something else i can do to sort this out.

    Thank you
    Divesh 8-)

This is something we are aware of.

Please download version 5.8.2 using the phone version for the Motorola V360 for now until we have sorted this issue out.

Yes, everything is fine, Mxit works on this phone, just not on full screen, as it did before. :-(

    1. down button goes to menu.

    2. after like half hour all messages deleted even unread with like 300kb free memory. shouldn't it only delete old messages like elite?

The memory left, is this before or after the client deleted your history?

    mr.insyt wrote:
    3. ugly markup codes show since no support and confuse first letter of messages.

This was not supported in later versions of the client. This will be added in a later release of the Mxit client.

    4. time should be in red and not grey to easily distinguish between your and contact messages.

The time stamps and the notification messages is the same colour as this is all info messages.

oh and a recommendation a like 160kb version of pro with all basic smilie sending, all smilie viewing, color markup, persistant moods, farewell message and show time support for mid range phones like mine. thanks.

unfortunately some of these features cannot be added to Pro, as some phones don't have enough dynamic memory for these features and thus need to run Mxit Pro.

    2. When i log in 359kb free memory. Just before messages are deleted 48kb free memory. The problems is that it deletes all messages including unread. Shouldn't it only delete old messages like elite does? And apparently an annoying pop up suppose to show like elite when deleting but this doesn't happen. Oh and chat and info messages take 5kb free memory, sounds alot?

The client deletes any amount of messages necessary, including unread messages, to keep the phone from running out of dynamic memory and bomb out. You can try to delete some unused contacts to free up some dynamic memory.

    5. Clicking selectable link takes me to create new multimix.

We are aware of this and are looking in to it. The only way around this for now is to type the selection manually.

    6. 20kb image and 1kb mxm unable to open, not enough dynamic memory with 198kb free memory.

We will have a look in to this.

    7. Standard smilies without images codes don't show.

    Can you please elaborate more?

    mr.insyt wrote:
Well your'll got a 64kb version for very low end phones and 128kb version for low end phones. So how about a 160kb for mid range phones like mine please? Work something with devolopers. Thanks.

Even though your phone can download applications larger than 128kb, the phone does not have enough dynamic memory to support the extra features.

Hi, I have a Motorola RAZR 2 V8 Mobile phone, I have Mxit installed, I only have 1 problem though, when I log in to Mxit, if I get any messages, my phone vibrates for the first messages, thereafter the vibes don't work at all, also my Mxit vibes don't work, I have deleted Mxit, cleared the cache, Restarted the phone and re-installed Mxit, but I'm still having this problem, and it is annoying not having the phone vibrate when I receive a message on Mxit.

Your help will be highly appreciated. (F)

    Thank You
