    Greetings,

There seems to be a problem with Motorola phones connecting to Mxit.

Some Motorola users can connect but once they start typing a message they get disconnected.

If you are experiencing this problem please post what Motorola model you are using and the name of your service provider.

    Also:
Go to "Menu" - "Web Access" - "Web Sessions" (this may be "Menu" - "Vlive" - "Internet profiles" on your phone)

Press the MENU button on the DEFAULT profile and select EDIT.

Scroll down to Proxy 1: Let us know what the IP address is here.

    Regards,
    Da Twista

    Greetings Motorola Communicators,

We have received numerous complaints that more and more Motorola phone's are connecting via CSD and not GPRS. CSD connections are billed for the time you spend on the internet and not for the data being send/received, like GPRS. This will result in a more expensive internet bill. Please make the following adjustments to your phone's setup to prevent your phone from making a CSD connection:

    1. On your phone, go to "Menu" - "Web Access" - "Web Sessions" (this may be "Menu" - "Vlive" - "Internet profiles" on your phone)
    2. Scroll to your phone's current default internet profile.
    3. Press the "Menu" button
    4. Select "Edit"
    5. Clear the "CSD No.1" and "CSD No.2" fields
    6. Select "Done"

    Regards,

Please Help. Got a Z3. not logging in. Did the Manual GPRS loading as per
the forum for the Z3. It does not work. And the phone cannot connect to any sites ( not even V-Live). It Says; Connection Unsuccessfull, try again later.

It might be possible that there is some GPRS stability problems in your area. You can try to give your service provider's customer care a call and ask them what the status is if their GPRS network in your area.
