I'm trying to add a contact to my gtalk who has recently changed their login name but all i get is an email saying that, that name is not with mxit.

Any ideas.

Please send us your registered MXit number plus the registered MXit number of the person you are trying to add so we can assist you with this.

When you invite a MXit contact from your GTalk, you currently need to add the user with their MXitId. (ie, mxitid@mxit.com or mxitid@mxit.co.za)

If they're an old MXit user, their MXitid is the same as their mobile number.
For new MXit users, the MXitId is generated (eg, m123456) Ask them to talk to Info, and select "My Profile" to find out what it is.

We're currently working on the Jabber gateway so you can in future also invite with Login names.

This doesnt seem to work either. I've tried mxitid@mxit.com and mxitid@mxit.co.za

I think that It is very hard to find the login name If We have not added them. I want to say that Ones You have invited your friend for the Gtlak Then You have added them. I wish that I will try best and find the login name which You want. I hope that You will show the login name which You want to find.
