    Ever been on your phone and wished you could use a specific emoticon that is on the forum? My idea is for Xit to make an emoticon pack with the forum emoticons so we can buy them. I love some of theses moticons and with the animation on the client now, we can even add the animated forum emoticons. Who agrees with me?

    We only allow emoticons that the MXit_Team make to be emoticon packs.

    Some forum emoticons have been made from the users which we prefer not to include.

    ok. So we cant get everything that we want. Could the MXit_Team consider the following for a emoticon pack?:

    :rofl: :twisted: :shock: :hmph: :ninja: :queen: (P)

    It may just be afew, but I understand that ones like :admiral: were made for Red Admiral. The ones I asked for seem more.. public. Surely it would be easy to make a pack for them because you already have the images. just a quick .{RA} (random lettering) and you can integrate it.

    Property of php???? Released under GPL licensing which means you are free to use for any purpose except commercial.

    Definition of commercial would be "To make or intend to make a profit from"

    Therefore if it was released as a free pack you would not be breaking any of the MCA. Mxit and it's users are covered by that act.

    Anyway my 1c :admiral:

    Oh hang on there is the "My property"

    YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAW Free for all :lol:

    A route Mxit does not want to go.

    Not quite... the GPL isn't about commercial vs non-commercial.
    If you include something that is GPL-licensed, then the whole work needs to me made available under a GPL-license.

    Stop making excuses :-{ Surely they didnt make a legal document that prevents anyone from using their emoticons. Mxit is a famous IM. All you have to do is TALK to Php admin. Surely they will allow you to use their emoticons for your client. What harmn is there in asking?
