Why is their no inline edit option in the new Mxit for the Sony Ericsson W715i

I have a Sony Ericsson W995. I downloaded Mxit V.6. It looks good, but I have a few issues.

When viewing my contacts' profiles, the profile picture isn't bigger. It is the same size as shown next to a contact on the contact list. Can it be as big as on V.5.9.8 or even bigger? It can't be seen as it is curruntly.

I can't set different alert tones to contacts anymore. Also can the custom sound option, last available on V5.9.2, be restored?

Previous status messages can't be selected and it has to be re-typed.

Lastly, keys and selecting options. I used to be able to enter the writng screen using "6" on my keypad. It now has the function of the right-navigational key.
My most frustrating problem that I have is the "Send" link that is mostly unavailable or sometimes it is another option. I then have to select "Menu" and use the alternative "Send" link, but in the menu there is also dublicates of options that are unselectable. (See attachment). I have had this problem since I got my W995 in April 2010. Is it only my phone or has anyone else reported this problem? What can I do about it?
