Here are a list of movies I'm really dying to see, trailers looked impressive enough but only time will tell if they are worth any mention:

    • The Amazing Spider-Man™ [3D]
Peter Parker is an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, and, together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets.

As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

      Genre: Action, Adventure, Thriller
      Running Time: 135
Release Date: 13 July 2012, Friday
    • The Dark Knight Rises

The epic conclusion to the Batman trilogy.

Side note: Hans Zimmer is doing the music score for this movie, so if nothing else - this soundtrack will be epic!

      Genre: Action, Crime, Thriller
Release Date: 27 July 2012, Friday
    • Step Up Revolution

Emily, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer, but soon falls in love with Sean, a young man who leads a dance crew in elaborate, cutting-edge flash mobs. The crew, called the MOB, strives to win a contest for a major sponsorship opportunity.

When Emily's father threatens to develop the MOB's historic neighbourhood and displace thousands of people, she must band together with Sean and the MOB to turn their performance mobs into protest mobs, and risk losing their dreams to fight for a greater cause.

PS: It needs to be said that I'm not a fan of this collection of movies but from the trailer - the moves I saw were legendary man. Choreography like nothing I've seen before!

      Genre: Dance, Romance, Drama, Music
Release Date: 17 August 2012, Friday
    • The Bourne Legacy

There's a new hero, and his life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events we witnessed in the past.

      Genre: Action, Adventure
Release Date: 21 September 2012, Friday
    • The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2

The astonishing conclusion to the series illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

After the birth of Renesmee, the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi.

      Genre: Romance, Fantasy, Drama
Release Date: 16 November 2012, Friday
    • The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

The most anticipated movie of all time!

Bilbo Baggins is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakensheild. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers. Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain first they must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever: Gollum. Here, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum's "precious" ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities. It is a simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know.

      Genre: Fantasy, Action, Adventure
Release Date: 14 December 2012, Friday

Hope you all booked your tickets for Twilight already. Very few cinema's still have space in Cape Town for opening night.

Yes I just admitted publically I'm a Twilight fan p-) I'm hardcore like that. lol

    • Ok so I missed Step Up Revolution, but seems people all saying it wasn't worth it. So oh well - nothing really missed you.

    • The Dark Knight Rises, fall asleep in that movie. Three hours was too long and boring for me.. Yes, yes all the batman would strongly disagree with me.
    • The Bourne Legacy, soo much wanted to watch this though.
