My favourites would have to be
Boondock Saints - Storyline, action. Just appeals to me.
Schindler's List - Although I'm not really a die hard *fan* of it, the historical background along with the interesting storyline earns its right as a favourite.
The Hobbit - Maybe just because it's new, but whatever the case, entrancing storyline, great graphics, orcs, elves and Gandalf all made it a favourite.
The Avengers - Probably my most favourite movie of all, I'm a hardcore comic fan and love Marvel and DC. Superheroes, humour, action and fantasy. What more could you want in a movie?
Also, just to throw it in, I have to mention that Paranormal 1 and 2 were uneventful but I found the third quite... scar-- thrilli-- I don't really have a word for it. Ending was horrible but the build up was interesting. The Last Exorcism was also relatively good in terms of horror and the paranormal.
