Ok... so I followed the apparently 3 easy steps. that didn't work. I've then almost obliterated every trace of Adium and the plugins and tried to do it all again. Still no luck. I've read the forum and tried to follow steps provided BUT... guess what??? Nothing
Sooo... Does anyone else have any tips? I've got the latest version of OSX 10.6.6 and running a quad-core i7.
I just want it to work.

Please provide us with more information about the issue at hand
For general troubleshooting for the adium plugin, please follow these steps:
*Remove the adium application
- Navigate to your Home Folder/Library/Application Support/
-- delete the entire "Adium" folder (mine is "Adium 2.0")
- Navigate to Home Folder/Library/Caches
-- delete the "Adium" folder and the folder called "com.adiumX.adiumX"
- Navigate to Home Folder/Library/Preferences
-- delete the file called "com.adiumX.adiumX.plist"
- Navigate to Home Folder/Library/Receipts
-- delete "Mxit.pkg"
reinstall the Mxit plugin and then install adium
you will now be taken through the setup process and find the Mxit plugin listed for use
