Hi! I have logged into Adium 1.4.1 for Mac but cannot chat. Keep saying "Offline". Keep saying Login error : Authentication failed. Please check your PIN and Mxit ID (3) What can be wrong?

Hi! I clicked on the link "Please Check This Post. Completed the User Name and e-mail address and the secure code. Keeps on saying "Username or email address not found" Whilst both are correct. Appreciate your help.

Yes I did. I don't know if its got to do with the Mxit ID. When I registered my User name and password was e-mailed to me, not the Mxit ID, as said that it would be sent. When I received my 1st e-mail it was mentioned that I click on the link to activate it, which I did and wanting to go back to the email where my User name & password was given saw that it was gone. When Adium asks for the password I type in the Mxit password. It keeps saying Error : "Unable to connect to the Mxit Server. Please check your Server settings. Then Error: Log in Error. Authentication failed. Please check your PIN and Mxit ID. (3).
Update : Should I re-register to see if it will work? How do I delete my current registration? Should I delete the current registration would I be able to use the same username?

It looks as if your registration never completed successfully. re-registering should solve your problem

Update : Tried to re-register but keeps saying e-mail already exists.
1. How I de-register in Mxit to re-register again?
2. Should I also delete the Mxit No in Adium?

Eish! I deleted as you said to the T. Re-downloaded and Installed as you said but no go. Pity I can't send you a pic. I use the Cell C No. and the password that Mxit gave me and Adium just says I'm Offline. Just cannot connect to be Available and they just cannot communicate with Mxit. Gee been struggling a long time now.
Somewhere I missing something.
Just asking. Wouldn't it help if I just re-register under another name and start all over from scratch or will Mxit pick the no. up and say "this no. already exists.
