    We would like to announce that we have released Mxit Adium v1.0 on the Devzone. This excludes support for the following:

    1. File transfer support (between users)
    2. Clickable links (when talking to services)
    3. User registration
    4. MultiMX
    5. HTTP protocol support

    Give it a try and if you have any problems let us know so we can assist you.

    Hi Im a Mac OS user im using leopard and am having problems with the adium Mxit plugin. I have installed it properly and everything but the problem is it keeps saying that my Mxit account does not exist. If you could help me figure out the problem i would really like it thanks

    nope im entering it in normally like i would in pidgin must i enter my number in a certain way?

    Try replacing the first 0 with 27 (eg: 0728768765 becomes 27728768765)

    I'm new to the mac world, i think i'm doing something wrong because this isn't working for me. Do I need to install something else first? :confused:

    No error message. When it's finished downloading I click on it to install, go through all the steps. It says installed successfully, but then i search and there is no Mxit app on my mac. All it basically did was create another shortcut to the original downloaded file. I'm almost regretting switching to mac LOL xP

    It's a Mxit plugin for Adium, so you need to download and install Adium first. Get it here: http://adium.im/

    We have put the Adium version text in both cases of the sites.

    There should be a mention of the MAC version on the Web-site soon.

    Adium is for Apple Mac computers.

    For Windows, download the Pidgin plugin.
