nyt, someone hack into my mxit. i have 2 mxit id's which i use frequently. the one number i havn't used for a long time (meaning the sim doesn't work anymore) and i was on my normal mxit when i saw my other mxit came online. so i went to my another one and changed the password, but now i can't get in at all, meaning the other person must have changed my password. so can you guys help me???? you can check the contacts on both mxit id's, they more or less the same. and everyone can vouch that it's my id!!! but some idiot hacked it. my password was very secure, both times over 10 charactors so vodacom must have issued my old number again and now some fool is using it on MY mxit!!

Your MXit has not been hacked. What has happened is your old number was recycled as you had not used it for a certain amount of time. The service provider takes numbers that have not been accessed for a while and puts them back into circulation. Also your password can not be above ten digits, although you may be entering 12 digits MXit will only look at the first ten.

So someone now has that old number and now owns that MXit.

Sorry for that but there is nothing you, MXit or anyone can do you have lost that profile

i used the term hack cause it isn't that persons mxit profile... but hey fine. guess i'm allowed to hack other people's mxit, since i mean it'll be on my phone and all..

either delete that profile or let me change the number of the profile to another sim i am using? i got alota contacts on that id.. i sms'd the person with my old number but he/she didnt reply, probly dnt know whats going on.

No you are wrong, That MXit is not hacked at all. He/She now owns the number to that MXit. If you didnt want this to happen you should have taken preventative steps to ensure it didn't happen.

And as upset as you may feel, this is not MXit's fault, nor the new owners fault. Take it as a learning experience. And I wouldn't suggest attempting to hack a live MXit. There can be serious legal ramifications. Your MXit although you feel is yours, is not anymore. When that person bought the sim that belonged to that profile it became theirs. Nothing can be done.

that will not help you in the slightest. Should you be able to gain access, the new user can just sms for the new pin ou have changed it to. I strongly advise you let this go.

nevermind, it's a she and she just replied, sorry for getting all chuffed. she'll let me go in and sort out my pf before she takes over :D she will change her pin afterwards when im done... thanks for replying
