V1.3 (like V1.2) js refuses 2 wrk ey, yoh! After clean installation ov V1.3 smartphone or pocket pc (i've tried both), MXit connects during activation bt

1) displays "logging in" icon nd text 4eva, never gettin 2 cnct screen, on "Auto" connection option[H,3G,E or G shows in cnr ov screen to show internet connection has been established ], however der appears a "please wait" (the spinning spiral ball) logo in the foreground, this cud b coz ov an error bt no error msg is seen - it CUD b in de background tho...

2) crashes immediately after i click "accept" when logging in using "Http" connection option, [no G,E,3G orH showz]

3) displays "logging in" immediately after pressin "accept" bt shows the screen 4eva [again, no connection is actually made since no G,E,3G or H shows].

Please help as this means no mxin 4 me ey.

Just one annoying thing. When a chat session is longer than the screen length and when I leave the current chat and return later, mxit scrolls to the top of the session automaticly. Very annoying...

This is my first wm phone and i love Mxit on it. 3 little probems tho...

(1) No vibration feature
(2) No auto capitalisation setting
(3) Sound very loud even on 10%

I'm sending this on behalf of someone else as he doesn't have internet access so i'll try my best to be as descriptive as possible.

He has recently upgraded his mxit version to the latest version from the mxit wap site and has reported a few things that don't seem right and would appreciate any feedback you may have.

as far as i can tell he's had no problems with version 1.2, its just 1.3 that he's been having these issues with:

1. able to chat freely with other mxit users but when he chats to me (when i'm using digsby on my pc at work) he says he "looses" all my contact details from his contact list (i have various accounts that link up to his, msn, gtalk and mxit). He says he also "looses" all my contact details when my status is manually set to "Away".
2. not sure if this is a separate issue altogether, but when his mxit is online and he does try chat to me, he says his java version just freezes or locks every time after he sends me a message from his mxit to my digsby (which is mostly to my gtalk detail from his mxit contact list)

He says that the older version isn't available on the mxit wap site either for him to download the previous version that did work.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Everytime I download an image, and click sae it doesnt save, then when I try get the next image, mxit crashes.

I find this very irratating

Hey guys! Thanks for mxit! I just got this phone. I can download and install smartphone ver 1.3 but when i try to run it it freezes my home screen and i only have the "exit" option available. I deleted everything and cleared the cache and re downloaded and installed but still the same problem.

Any news on a new version? Because I don't want to use v1.3, the previous version works better.

No feedback yet ? The image problem is really getting annoying :(

Ok I can only help with the image problem. If you find that a image is displaying incorrectly, first go to your settings and switch off profile pic. These pictures are stored in a cache on your phone and by switching it off clears the cache. Exit MXit start it again turn on profile pics it will re cache the pics and it should be ok.

That doesnt work either....

Will this be fixed in the next version ? when can we expect v1.4 ?
